The dance floor needs some "warming up" before our fun & inspiring weekend of Swing Dance crazyness, so toss on your dance shoes and come and show us some of your favourite moves!
DJ Ansgar (Dortmund), DJ JazzMedic (Düsseldorf) and DJ Remy Demy (Cologne) will support the evening with a great mix of swinging tunes to keep you dancing all night long ... ;)

SATURDAY NIGHT SOCIAL DANCE
Saturday, November, 21:
The Saturday Night social dance will be the BLAST of the weekender! We will have a fabulous band - Mr. Kong & His Swinging Monkeys (CZ) - to make you dance the night away!
On the "turntables" DJ JazzMedic (Düsseldorf) and DJ Remy Demy (Cologne) will serve up a hand-picked selection of swinging favorites, hot jazz gems and irresistible rhythms between the live sets and beyond!
So put on your nicest suits and dresses, people, and let's dance!

Mr. Kong & His Swinging Monkeys
EN: We are passionate about bringing the swing dance music of the late 1930s to life with as much authenticity as possible. Many of us are not only musicians but also enthusiastic Lindy Hop dancers, sharing a deep appreciation for the music and culture of the Swing Era. As part of the Swing Kong Dance Orchestra, we are dedicated to keeping this vibrant tradition alive. We are based in Brno, Czech Republic.
DE: Mit großer Leidenschaft widmen wir uns der originalgetreuen Swing-Tanzmusik der späten 1930er-Jahre. Viele von uns teilen ihre Begeisterung für diese Ära nicht nur als Musiker, sondern auch als Lindy-Hop-Tänzer. Als Teil des Swing Kong Dance Orchestra tragen wir den Geist der Swing-Zeit weiter. Unsere Heimatstadt ist Brünn in Tschechien.
FAREWELL SOCIAL DANCE

All good things come to an end... so we close the inspiring and moving weekend with a little farewell dance. Let's enjoy the last dance for the weekend... the last hug...the last smile before leaving and heading home to daily life :)
And finally DJ Ansgar will keep the music flowing and help us make the most of these last precious hours together.

DJ Ansgar (Dortmund)
EN: DJ Ansgar is a Lindy Hop instructor at LindyPott e.V. and has been part of the swing dance scene in the Ruhr region for many years. As well as teaching, he regularly takes to the turntables as a DJ, ensuring the dance floors are packed with a carefully curated mix of swing classics and the latest tracks from contemporary swing bands. Whether at Balboa parties or Lindy Hop tea dances, his musical sets combine a sense of historical flair with a keen understanding of the dancers’ needs.
DE: DJ Ansgar ist Lindy-Hop-Lehrer beim LindyPott e.V. und seit vielen Jahren Teil der Swing-Tanzszene im Ruhrgebiet. Neben dem Unterricht steht er regelmäßig als DJ hinter den Turntables und sorgt mit einer sorgfältig ausgewählten Mischung aus Swing Klassikern und den neuesten Aufnahmen aktueller Swing Bands für volle Tanzflächen. Ob auf Balboa Partys oder bei Lindyhop Tea Dances – seine musikalischen Sets verbinden historisches Flair mit einem feinen Gespür für die Bedürfnisse der Tänzerinnen und Tänzer.
DJ JazzMedic (Düsseldorf)
EN: DJ JazzMedic has been dancing Lindy Hop for over ten years – this passion gave rise to a deep love of swing music, from which his work as a DJ behind the decks developed quite naturally. A native Berliner, now based in Düsseldorf, he plays at dance venues across Germany and has since made a name for himself on the international scene. He combines classic Lindy Hop with a jazzy sound and groovy swing. With a keen sense of timing, flow and space, he plays music that gets straight into your legs and keeps the dance floor alive.
DE: DJ JazzMedic tanzt seit über zehn Jahren Lindy Hop – aus dieser Leidenschaft entstand eine tiefe Liebe zur Swingmusik, aus der sich ganz natürlich auch seine Arbeit als DJ hinter den Decks entwickelte. Der Ur-Berliner, heute in Düsseldorf zuhause, bespielt Tanzflächen in ganz Deutschland und ist mittlerweile auch auf internationalem Parkett zu finden. Dabei kombiniert er klassischen Lindy Hop mit jazzigem Sound und groovigem Swing. Mit feinem Gespür für Timing, Flow und Raum legt er Musik auf, die direkt in die Beine geht und den Dancefloor lebendig hält.
DJ Remy Demy (Cologne)
EN: DJ Remy Demy, Cologne based, guarantees to serve you the finest Swing tunes and make you dance all night. As a Swing dancer himself with over 10 years of experience in dancing Lindy Hop and Balboa and travelling from event to event, DJ Remy knows what you need to dance until your feet catch fire. From classic Big Band Swing sounds to modern Swing Band tunes, from fast to moderate and slow tempos, you will have an exciting time on the dancefloor.

Als Swing-Tänzer mit über 10 Jahren Erfahrung im Lindy Hop und Balboa, der von Veranstaltung zu Veranstaltung reist, weiß DJ Remy genau, was ihr braucht, um zu tanzen, bis euch die Füße brennen. Von klassischen Big-Band-Swing-Klängen bis hin zu modernen Swing-Band-Songs, von schnellen über mittelschnelle bis hin zu langsamen Tempi – ihr werdet eine aufregende Zeit auf der Tanzfläche erleben.
